About the Job:
As a Care Team Specialist, you will be the face of our organization! We are dedicated and teamwork-driven. You will work closely with Funeral Homes, Medical Examiners, and First Responders to safely, respectfully, and successfully transport the deceased.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Safely and effectively transport human remains for Funeral Homes, Medical Examiners, and Body Donation Agencies.
Interact with grieving family members and various state agency personnel.
Work and Collaborate as a team to complete removals.
Abide by safe removal procedures/practices.
Completion of inventory sheets and other paperwork needed by Funeral Homes, Medical Examiners' offices, etc.
Keeping company vehicles clean and in proper working order.
Be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Job Requirements:

Must have a Black or Blue suit, Black or Brown dress shoes, and Matching dress socks.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overnight.
Smartphone with Internet and Picture capability.
An understanding of the “On Call” work schedule.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Valid Drivers License and reliable vehicle to get to work.
Must live in Portage/Kalamazoo area
Ability to lift and carry 100-150 lbs. along with a push/pull of 200-250 lbs.
Great interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to ever-changing situations/environments.
